Well our library isn’t a silent place in the mornings. It is a quiet buzz of activities. Students from 5th grade are clustered around the computers working on their newspaper assignments. The library buddies (3rd – 5th) set up the book carts, attach the teachers’ stars and deliver them. Then they get busy shelving books, hanging decorations, even fixing books. The 7:35 bell sounds and there is a flurry of activity as materials are returned to their proper places, newspaper articles are saved, book bags are grabbed, and students hurry off to class.
